What’s your fancy: Medieval Mead or Contemporary Languedoc?

April is decidedly a month for merry-making considering Context Paris’s line up of events for the remainder of April. In past posts, I’ve mentioned one of the great delights of being in Paris can be an invitation to a wine-tasting.

Now, thanks to Context Paris, if you’re visiting Paris or you’re new in town and haven’t yet met fellow wine-lovers, check out the Saturday, April 21st wine-tasting which will be conducted by a pro. Olivier Magny is a trained sommelier and proprietor of O Chateau, a wine institute.

If you’re a fan of Medieval Paris, set aside April 12th for a medieval dinner in cellars reverberating from music and dance of the era. Unlike a ‘made for tourists attraction’, this is a great oppotunity to meet Elaine Polley a Sorbonne graduate and an authority on the subject of day-to-day life in medieval Paris.
