For one night only (that sounds like it could be a song right out of the era) n’est-ce pas? The Who will be in concert in Paris at Bercy on JUNE 6 at 8:30 pm. Mark it on your calendar. If you haven’t attended a concert yet at Bercy, maybe this will be the night. (That sounds like a song out the era too).
Parisinfo reviewer cites The Who alongside Led Zeppelin and Hendrix as one of the great bands. There’s no doubt that The Who deserves its place in the hallowed halls of rock history - but let’s be clear, these Valhallas are on totally different mountaintops where n’er the Zeppelins, the Who and the Hendrix shall meet (except perhaps at Beck’s behest i.e. Beck’s Bolero-Truth).
Some of us may prefer to spend the day making a pilgrimage to Jim Morrison’s digs at Pere Lachaise. I’ll stay in my purple haze.
Tickets start at 45.30 Euros to 78.30 Euros
