Ringing in the New Year, 2006

What better place to ring in the New Year than Paris? If you are kicking yourself right now because you can’t be in Paris, don’t feel too bad. You’re not alone. I’m not in Paris either.
But if, on the other hand, you are one of the LUCKY ones, check out, ParisInfo.com on their English translated official site.

Even if you are in Paris, the price tag on the Garnier Opera House may be totally out of range - tickets START at $100 for the chance to clink champagne flutes and listen to Paris’ ‘finest conductor’ Georges Prete play extracts from Bizet and Offenbach.
Okay, so if the Opera House isn’t in the cards, how about a walk?
On Saturday, January 7th, 2006, the Rallye Paris Tour sponsored by the Godillot Familial Association will start at 3 pm from the Halle George Carpentier in the 13th arrondissement. There will be 14 and 20 km circuits including some of the most famous landmarks (like Opera Garnier for example).
