We had just finished a walking tour with conferencier Marc Soleranski - here in front of the Pantheon. To think that Romans also may have crossed this path - medieval pilgrims tread along the nearby Rue St Jacques headed southward toward Spain and Rome.
Their spirits of past travelers still seem to permeate every stone and every passing cloud.
