Learning the Haka

Marie Linton reports for “Le Parisien” how the traditional ‘Haka’ provides an opportunity for kids on two sides of the Channel (UK & France) to practice their language skills and also learn the dance that has been made famous by New Zealand’s rugby players.

The ‘haka’ dance instruction is taking place at Paris’s Musee du Quai Branly, close to the Eiffel Tower. If you haven’t yet visited the museum inaugurated by former president Jacques Chirac, don’t wait any longer! Designed by architect Jean Nouvel, the Quai Branly museum places African, Oceanic, Asian, and Amerindian art and artifacts in a prestigious setting.
