You can participate - it’s not too late. Get up early Saturday morning and head to Unesco, Place Fontenay. Metro: Cambronne in the 7th arrondissement. From 7 am onward, you can sign up for the 8:30 am 5k race which will follow part of the same route that the marathoners will be running on Sunday.
You’ll run along blvd. Sufferen, Pont d’Iena, past Place Trocadero, and the Bois de Boulogne, finishing up on Avenue Foche.
Be sure to bring along some Euros for a cafe au lait and a croissant - and you’ll have the perfect Saturday petit dejeuner.
