The longest day of the year - June 21st- and the Fete de la Musique is just around the corner (next Thursday) so you’ll want to make sure and get on your dancing shoes and hit the streets. Parisinfo.com has an exceptionally long list of music venues ranging from night clubs to ‘mairies’ or town halls. The choice of music is vast from jazz to the Republican Guard Orchestra (which will be playing for free at Les Invalides at 10 pm).
The good thing about the Fete de la Musique is the fact that you’ll find much of the music performed on street corners - so you wont’ have to go far.
