Helene Bry writes for Le Parisien today that the focus for the French in 2007 is on staying healthy and enjoying life.
She notes the trend of the age 55 and up crowd i.e. ‘Mamy Boom’ in particular as the group most likely to go out, travel, and remain active. The old concept of waiting for the grave is being thrown out the window now that retirees have a more secure pension.
Good health is a major concern of a large segment of the population and this year with the new smoking laws, many will be trying to kick their smoking habits.
