Seems like there’s no end to the number of photos of Paris - is it the most photographed city in the world? Maybe. All I know is that when I stumbled onto Spirit of Paris, something clicked and it wasn’t a camera shutter.
One of my favorite photos from Michel’s site is Mysteries of the Louvre, what’s yours?
I will be writing more about the interesting author of this site - but first, go take a look for yourself and see if you agree with me that these photos are AWESOME (and I promise you that will be the only time you’ll ever see me use that word on this site).

How do you get to the next page? What am I missing?
Mary, I included two links to Spirit of Paris, first to the Spirit of Paris Home Page, and secondly to the page which features one of my favorite photos Mysteries in the Louvre (but the actual page has four photos posted, so you’ll need to scroll down until you find Mysteries of the Louvre). I’m not sure if that’s the page you were trying to access - or if you want referring to Research Girl’s comment.
P.S. Just changed the second link - so you’ll land right on on the Louvre concourse.
I like the Bateau-Lavoir and Montmartre in the Fog. I’m drawn to photos/paintings that depict a bit of a mystery, loneliness perhaps, quiet before the storm maybe, stillness.
Mysteries of the Louvre IS awe-some, striking, even spiritual.
I see that ghost lurking around the bend - good one too.
You are right - stunning images, lovely text. This is a fine website….and in the ghost of the hotel photo, I think I can see the Ghost!
