Coming to Paris for the Winter Sales? Bring a warm coat!

Winter sales officially begin tomorrow, January 7th (2009) and will continue through to the first week in February. If you plan on coming, be sure to bring your warmest clothes - it is really cold! Tomorrow’s sales kick off with temperatures dropping to -8 celcius.

Although snow rarely comes to Paris, we have had some snow in the past few days as well as icy patches. Great photo opportunities! Bundle up and enjoy a Paris winter landscape. Finish off your day with a nice ‘vin chaud’ or mulled wine in a Paris cafe.

Yeah, it just sounds CRAZY cold in Paris right now. Heard the airport was closed for awhile yesterday? These pictures of Paris in the snow were just put up by someone today - beautiful, but cold…
