The sun has returned to Normandy. Zidane - will he be back to lead France to victory against Spain this evening? If so, it is certain to be the beginning of a good summer. The smiles will return. People will go outside again.

P.S. Here is another reason I’ve become a born again soccer fan: BBC. No advertising! Great commentators. They say exactly what they think. Where else could you hear such audacious comments like: “After this game, people may have a found a reason to dislike Switzerland.” When it comes to soccer, politically correct talk goes down the tubes.
