Inspired by Paris’s Velib bike leasing program, London will try out a similar program according to Londonlogue.com.
News.

Chris at Londonlogue wonders whether the prices for renting a bicycle in London would remain affordable or would greed and bicycle theft be more of problem in London than in Paris?

I guess I have a more ‘fairplay’ image of UK entrepreneurs, having just signed up for SKYPE. I tend to think of UK as a place where people facilitate communication - or getting from Point A to Point B without gouging.

Then again, from what I’ve heard about hotel and restaurant rates in London, it’s quite possible that you can find more hotel and restaurant deals in Paris than in London (what a pity for some Parisians who love to do their clothes shopping in London!)
