Bamako Mayor in Paris

In my recent entry regarding Paris’s new tram, I forgot to mention that Bamako, Mali’s mayor was also present for the inauguration of the new train. Bamako is also sister cities with Anger in France and Rochester, New York.
If you have visited the Quai du Branly in Paris, you will also want to visit the Bamako National Museum. If you are fortunate enough to have a guide who is familiar with the initiation ceremonies you can learn in great detail about the different stages of initiation into male and female societies.
