Antique Lovers - Paris is the place to be in September

The annual antique sales are in full swing this week, so if you’re in town you can ‘kill two birds wiht one stone’ by paying a visit to the recently restored Grand Palais and visiting the antique sale which has set up camp at the Grand Palais. It runs daily from 11 am to 11 pm until September 24th. The admission fee is 15 Euros.

We just drove into town Sunday night. The Grand Palais has illuminated the statues crowining its roof - you will see the illuminated equine sculptures looking as if they’re ready to fly right off the rooftops.
In my last entry - which is the most beautiful city in the world, Paris, Venice or Rome, for example), I’d have to say that Paris at night is hard to beat.
