Snow in Paris: Just for Christmas

Starting tonight, December 8th,’07 until December 26th, there WILL be snow in Paris - and you don’t have to be a meteorologist to predict it. For the first time this year, Galeries Lafayettes is celebrating Christmas by manufacturing snow in front of their department store at 40 Boulevard Hausmann. The snow will begin falling from 5 pm to 7 pm for only ten minutes on the hour - so you’ll have to time your visit to arrive in time to throw snowballs - or take pictures.
