Free Metro & Buses for New Year’s Eve

RATP, Paris’s Metro and bus service is offering FREE transportation from 5 pm, December 31st, 2007, until 12 noon January 1st, 2008 as another gift to public transportation users who suffered through this past November’s strike.

So, if you’re in Paris for New Year’s Eve, there’s no need to search for a taxi - the Metro is running all night - and for free. What could be better? A free limo? Maybe next year.
