The tentative strike dates may begin as early as November 14th (2007) although the original dates had been projected for November 20th. At this point, SNCF and RATP (i.e. trains and Metro) may or may not be running next week depending upon the outcome of talks with the French government. Lucky us – we are taking the train today – but will be get back to Paris in between strikes? That is the question. Fall is a great time to be in Paris – as long as you don’t mind dodging the strikes.
