Base of the Eiffel Tower
I think what I love about this picture is that it incorporates the famous Eiffel Tower in a way that lets you know exactly what city you’re in without hitting you over the head with it. The tower is a background image, and because the photo is black & white it blends in with the other buildings in the foreground. It makes me think that this is how Parisians see the tower - not as a tourist attraction, but as an everyday background image.
